Hi, my name is Nick Allsopp and I work as an independent coach and facilitate people development. There’s quite a few of us around, so what makes me different? To start with I have over 30 years’ corporate experience working in a wide range of sectors and roles. I’ve always been passionate about developing individual potential and helping organizations to create an environment that supports adult learning, linked to improved business results.
The last couple of years have been really challenging for so many people and I’ve seen first hand how working with a coach has helped people to navigate through some significant change both on a personal and professional basis.
Our response to change is an area that really excites me and so my coaching focus is around behavioural change. To support this work, I use an incredible psychometric tool which provides a real level of insight with which to explore existing behaviours that can both help and hinder our performance. I’m a great fan of lifelong learning and frequently come across individuals, blogs, articles, books etc that both inspire and inform my thinking. My coaching approach is action oriented and I will always follow any coaching session with a summary of agreed actions.
Momentum
Training middle managers is crucial for organisational success as they play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between top-level executives and front-line employees. Neglecting their training can have detrimental effects on business performance and overall success. Coaching can help fulfil this need and help middle or newly promoted managers to become more confident through improved communication, effective decision making and navigating change.
My Momentum programme is designed to help in a number of areas by:

About me
I’m married to a very patient wife and have two grown-up children and a grand-son who is a recent addition to our lives. I enjoy travel particularly to places where the culture and way of life is completely different to ours. I trained as a chef when I left school and whilst my career has taken me in a different direction, I still enjoy cooking, eating and the occasional glass of red!
I work as an associate for a number of niche organizations and as such have a great network of colleagues who can meet many business needs, so if I can’t help you, the chances are I’ll know somebody who can.
